The solo exhibition of Alice Vaccaro, a young promise of the Painting course, hosted in the SUBPLACE exhibition space in Milan

On 3 September 2024, at 6 p.m., the Accademia Aldo Galli in collaboration with the SUBPLACE exhibition space in Milan will present the inauguration of Non dire una parola (che non sia d'amore), the solo exhibition of Alice Vaccaro, the winner of the competition for the Academy's Painting and Visual Languages course. This training course, which stands out for its ability to create exhibition opportunities in significant venues on the art circuit and for its focus on networking between different figures in the art world, aims to train complete artists, capable of expressing themselves with authenticity and competence on the international art scene.

Alice Vaccaro proposes a visual reflection on love and its complex nuances, through works that dialogue between gesture and sentiment, tradition and innovation. The author states:

"Feelings and human fragility. These are the recurring elements in my artistic research. I have always found it fascinating and paradoxical how in suffering and pain, man draws strength and appears more alive than ever".

The exhibition, open until 15 September, represents a unique opportunity to discover the work of a young artist who is already able to establish herself with a personal and profound language.

SUBPLACE, curated by Joykix (Fabrizio Longo) and Rossella Moratto, is an independent and self-financed project that in two years has hosted 22 exhibitions of contemporary Italian and international artists of different generations. This year for the summer season it proposes ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS, a summer project offering a platform to young emerging talents. This project includes the exhibition Non dire una parola (che non sia d'amore), the second of this season dedicated to the very young.
